MOSHI Therapeutic Program "Overcome Pain with Art and Philosophy"

MOSHI is glad to start a disruptive therapeutic program to help kids who live with sicklecell anemia to overcome their painful chronic crises with fun, art and philosophy. The project will take place in Montreuil Public Hospital — in the pediatric playroom. It receveid a generous grant from Fondation Humanités, Digital et Numérique (sous l’égide de la Fondation de France)

Philo-Artistic project at the Lycée Français de New-York (LFNY) // Les 4L

For the school year 2017-2018, Caroline Murgue is intervening with Laurent Morival, teacher of philosophy and cinema in the class 1e L at the Lycée Français de New-York. 

The 4L collective project (Les 4L) is an ongoing philosophical and artistic program. 

Lorenza, Elisa, Nour and Melchior have been working on multimedia artworks to present their favorite philosophical concepts. 

Their first video artworks will be projected during the Cultural Fair of LFNY on October 28th in NYC.

As a work-in-progress, their future philosophical artworks will be exhibited at Albertine bookstore, NYC, on June 10-11th 2018, and during World Philosophy Day in November 2018 at the Headquarters of UNESCO in Paris.

A blog is currently under construction to showcase their reflection and their creativity.

MOSHI workshops with Julia Edelman

Julia Edelman is a comedy writer and filmmaker based in Brooklyn, N.Y. who studied Philosophy!

Her work has been featured in The New Yorker, New York magazine, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Cosmopolitan, Broadly, The Atlantic, CollegeHumor, Playboy, Funny or Die, Entertainment Weekly, People, the Believer, Buzzfeed, and many others.

Her first humor book, Love Voltaire Us Apart: A Philosopher's Guide to Relationships will be the support for a serie of MOSHI workshops about LOVE in Paris and NYC ! (Dates to be announced soon)
